Rental gear and maintenance, under control

Every regulator, tank and wetsuit with its code, its status and its next service. Rentals go on the booking and are charged with it.

Service dates you can see coming

Each regulator, tank, BCD, dive computer and compressor has its next service date. The maintenance list puts first what is overdue or due within a month, so nothing goes into the water out of date.

Every unit, with its status

Each piece of gear has an internal code, brand, model and serial number, and a status: available, in service, in repair, lost or out of service. Faults are logged with who found them and when.

Dive equipment rental software for the whole store room

Rental gear is one of the biggest investments in a dive center, and one of the hardest to keep track of. Okeanun Manager gives every unit its own record, from the day you register it to the day you retire it.

You register your gear in bulk with internal codes, so a search for “33” finds OKN-0033. Each unit carries its status, and the maintenance screens show which ones need a service soon. When a diver rents equipment, the units you hand over are recorded on their booking and the charge is added to what they owe.

What you can manage

  • Inventory for 12 equipment types, with brand, model, size and serial numbers.
  • Rental packs with their price, added to bookings and returned when the dive is over.
  • Maintenance dates and history for regulators, tanks, BCDs, dive computers and compressors.
  • Faults and repairs with who found them and what was done.
  • Lost gear reports, so missing units do not stay on the available list.

Questions about rental gear

What people ask us most about this feature.

Which equipment types can I manage?

Twelve: regulators, tanks, BCDs, wetsuits, booties, masks, snorkels, fins, weights, weight belts, dive computers and compressors.

How do I charge for rental gear?

You create rental packs with the items they include and their price. On each booking you add the pack and hand over the units by their internal code, and the charge is added to that booking.

Can I log faults and repairs?

Yes. Regulators, tanks, BCDs and compressors have a fault log with the type of fault, who detected it and when, and you mark each unit in repair or back in service.

What about compressors?

Compressors track their running hours, service and filter change intervals, and each service is recorded with a PDF report.

Do I know which sizes a diver needs?

Yes. Divers can add their height, weight and shoe size to their profile, so your team can prepare the gear before they arrive.
